WHAT WE DO
McGee Aegis Solutions has helped many individuals facing housing insecurities and homelessness. We have also successfully supported individuals with a move from licensed residential services into their very own home, showcasing the Lotus Project.
The Lotus Project is an exciting program that offers a comprehensive and individualized plan of care. The program targets transitions from higher levels of care, such as licensed residential services (group homes), by providing a skill enhancing plan to allow for true independent living in the community. The Lotus Project bridges waiver services- HTTS, IHCS and CPS- paired with community resources and meaningful relationships to ensure a solid foundation of support.
In pursuing innovative ways to serve individuals in the community, a housing transition plan is developed. A Housing Specialist is assigned to explore and provide ongoing support and assistance. The Housing Specialists form relationships with local landlords and property management companies to find viable and affordable options for people challenged with meeting the typical guidelines for becoming a tenant. Staffing needs are assessed, and supportive housing models are considered.
Aegis Solutions offers an abundance of programs for you and your loved ones to take advantage of. At Aegis we believe those we serve are unique and no one fits into a cookie-cutter program. We take pride in building the program around the person, using their strengths to determine how they want to live and encouragement to work towards their goals. We take pride in transitioning individuals from higher levels of care into less intensive and regulated programs. Through our array of program offerings from community to licensed programs, we are able to offer a continuity for our individuals that can serve them through all avenues of their life.

The Lotus Project is a unique program that offers independence in the individual’s greater community of their choice while also providing the necessary assistance to ensure their health and safety. The Lotus Project combines all of our Community Program offerings in one bundle which allows for the individual to live in their own apartment and thrive as a meaningful participant within their community.
